Dashboard of older model vehicles would have one, but none has many. Toggle switch has the advantage of not easily worn out or losing its function. Miniature gearshift – as it appears, now there are a good number of takers for toggle switch. None of them likes to fill their dashboard with toggle switches though.

Light switch, wiper switch, heater fan switch, etc can use toggle switch. The latest fancy is a toggle switch mounted with an LED. The light turns on while the switch is on –oftentimes extremely helpful, especially after you forget that you have switched a fan on.

It is not time to remove all your regular, push and pull switches to make way for a toggle switch. With toggle switch, you have only on/off function and adjustability is not a question with toggle switch. It is either on or off and nothing in between, which is not the case of the switch that helps you adjust the volume of your sound system.

If you plan adding a toggle switch to your dashboard by cutting open some space for it, make sure it sits nicely and does not affect the beautiful face of your dashboard. When purchasing, you can purchase them from the ecommerce sites that you feel comfortable about. It doesn’t cost much too.
