Bulb car light originally meant to show you the way while you drive at night. Now with advanced technologies coming into standard car bulbs, giving out bright light in colours ranging from white to yellow, with options of a bluish white floodlight and even a purple tint, the choices of car light bulb is never ending.
Quality and longevity of bulb car light also varies. Same quality bulbs can show different lifespan, depending on the wiring, voltage difference and the type of usage. Vehicles that start with their headlights on usually have bulbs lasting shorter than the ones that start while keeping the bulbs off. Similarly, wrong type of wiring and supply load can also abruptly end the life of a bulb car light.
There is variety of choice in bulb car light. Xenon bulb car light is just one among them. There are also bulb car light that just are not permitted for regular street use. They are for off road applications only. Keeping this point in mind is important, while you plan buying bulb car light. The bulbs that come installed with the vehicles are always street permitted. Problems arise only when you buy replacement bulbs and of coloured bulbs.
Sometimes you will also be faced with compatibility issue, as one kind of bulb may not be a fit for your vehicle. Check with the dealers to learn if the bulb car light goes well with your vehicle. The prices also vary, depending on the kind of gas filled in the bulb, its design and the colour of light.

Bulb car LED is stylish addition for internal and external illumination of any vehicle. Coming with vibrant colours of choice, bulb car LED quickly becomes a style statement.
Bulb car LED of 5W to 12 W gives bright light output, while consuming less power than standard bulbs. Thus they spare the power system and let it lasts longer. Energy efficiency has always been a concern and by consuming less power, bulb car LED puts less pressure on the power line.
Another thing about bulb car LED is it lights up instantly, up to half second faster than regular or halogen bulbs. With LED in the tail light, it can at least at times prove critical. They also don’t emit UV radiations. They last for 50,000 to 100,000 hours and are standard choice of long-term convenience and style.
LED headlight or LED headlamp is only recent addition and several websites have already started promoting them. Though the initial cost appears to be too much compared to the standard bulb, the energy and cost savings in the long run are incomparable. Energy use is 90% low and they last 900% longer.
And think about the styling options available with bulb car LED. There are different challenges in making bulb car LED work and the first among them is managing the heat from the engine.
Who knows, maybe bulb car LED throw the halogen bulbs from in front the car to some trash. Lot more to develop in the world of bulb car LED, but the future is promising.

CCFL or cold cathode fluorescent lamp produces light at low temperature and used widely as backlight. CCFL as LCD backlight gives a clear view of the dials on the dashboard of a vehicle.
For backlight, CCFL is so bright and so clear. You get clear view of gauge readings while you drive your vehicle through darkness. They don’t produce much heat and in normal cases, they last for 20,000 hours.
CCFL –LCD backlight is the new addition to Mercedes S Class’ dashboard. It is not that a costly affair. The dashboard and gauges becomes clearer, and with advanced technologies, you can replace the gauges for TV screen. You can see the reading clearly, even under no-light conditions.
There is nothing that compares to CCFL spilling light for the gauges and giving out a crystal clear display. When it comes to style and class, the backlight for your dash can be one thing you might consider.
They look elegant, shed light and come with a warm look. Most importantly, they cost less and heat less. CCFL has found applications in neon board advertising, LCD backlight and in several other areas where clear display is of importance. Control over the colour of light and the clarity to experience are unmatchable.
The market is not flooded with choice of CCFL for your vehicle. However, you can find a few deals along with gauges. It is also the choice of the manufacturers to roll their models out with this option. Again, CCFL is optional and fitting with one depends on your choice.

Bulb light xenon now get people like a deer in the headlight, which can soon get over as more people get accustomed to the day-like light from a headlamp.
Lighting technology for vehicles has undergone considerable evolutions over the past century and now you have bulb light xenon. What difference does the xenon gas makes? You may ask. The answer is simple – you will see a significant difference in the amount of light available to you and the clarity of sight you get.
You see road signs quickly and clearly. You also can inadvertently attract the attention of fellow drivers who come against you. It will be so for some time and people will soon get off it, as they see the same bulb light xenon emitting the light from most of the vehicles in the town. Until then, it is hard time not to get the attention while having a xenon lamp.
The prime cause of traffic accidents is poor light on the road. It is estimated that over 60% of all accidents are caused due to less than perfect lighting. When looking for a solution for poor lighting, bulb light xenon comes as the default choice.
Bulb light xenon saves 50% of energy, lasts ten times longer and gives out 200% the light, when compared to halogen bulb.
Bulb light xenon gives out a classic white light with a tint of blue, making it the perfect lighting for road conditions. It costs a bit higher than normal halogen bulbs. Then again, the savings you make from power savings, minimal replacements and diverted accidents, it is highly profitable.

Air fuel ratio gauge gives accurate readings on air and fuel available for combustion in turbocharged engines. It displays the richness or leanness of the exhaust mixture. Rich mixture has excess oxygen and lean mixture has less than enough oxygen. Ideal mixture is termed to as Stoichiometric or Stoich ratio, which is between the two extremes and usually spots as blinking of orange coloured LED.
Air fuel ratio has significant advantages as the driver gets accurate reading of oxygen levels; ensures optimum performance of catalytic converter, thereby reducing emissions; enhances fuel economy and prepares the engine for maximum performance.
The two types of air fuel ratio gauge are narrow band and wide band. The difference in oxygen sensors gives the gauges its name. Narrow band oxygen sensor is just enough for street vehicles. High performance vehicles require a wide band oxygen sensor for more accurate readings of oxygen levels and saturation levels of the air with fuel vapour. Wide band is also desirable for turbocharged, highly tuned vehicles.
The air fuel ratio gauge spots 10 LEDs, with colours green, yellow, orange and red. Taking a quick look on to the gauge, the driver can follow the exact conditions going on at the engine, on a real time basis. It takes a minute learn the factors for optimum performance, acceleration, fuel saving, etc.
If you have a turbocharged engine, air fuel ratio gauge is an essential addition. It doesn’t cost much and fits snugly on to the dashboard, giving you a convenient, reliable reading of the conditions at the engine.

CCFL inverter is special kind of inverter that gives fixed volt ac power as output after taking in dc power as input. They supply power to CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent light). CCFL provides the backlight for LCD screens and powers display lights like neon lights. CCFL also finds its way to the dashboard of vehicles, where they backlight LCD gauges.
With CCFL making its way to almost everywhere – from display screen of computers to mobile phone backlight, ultra small CCFL inverter also becomes the requirement. Almost all functions have a CCFL inverter, specially designed to meet the requirements of fitting size and voltage output.
CCFL inverter needs to fit snugly into tiny spaces, away from easily visible areas. Miniaturization is another feature of CCFL inverter. It is because they need to fit snugly in very little space. Its miniature size also ensures they go well with several hundreds of the lightweight applications.
CCFL inverter becomes smaller and the voltage output goes down as low power applications are becoming more common. One of a type component, CCFL inverter becomes highly efficient and better equipped with advancements in technology. As of now, CCFL inverter has a back seat, away from the places where our eyes reach, where they work hard to give out a crisp, tight display.
If you want to buy CCFL inverter separately is a doubt, as the CCFL itself has long life of up to 20,000 hours and a replacement of inverter during this period is unlikely. Again, it is nice to learn the applications and installation procedure of CCFL inverter.

Xenon gas filled bulbs give out extra lighting for vehicle headlights. Light xenon gives out light, at more than double the rate of standard halogen bulb. It doesn’t stop there, it consumes half the power. Light xenon gives you two times double advantage – power savings and extra luminosity.
Xenon gas packed in the bulb under high pressure gives light xenon that extra luminosity.
The clear white light, with a tint of blue is the clearest of all automobile lights. The light is soft on eyes and is almost like daylight. There is not the yellowish lighting by standard bulbs. You also are able to better read and identify road signs – critically important while driving at night. This is because the extra luminosity gains are distributed to the already lit areas. This gives clearer identification of edges and obstructions on the road.
Light xenon also lasts long. It can even outlast the car itself – bail out in case of an accident.
Needless to say, light xenon comes for a price, which some people consider to be overwhelming. Considering the precision engineering and technology that goes into this bulb, manufactured according to strictest conditions, filling the right amount of xenon gas at several times the pressure of atmosphere, and considering the fact they always outlast your car, the price you pay is minimal. Add to all these facts that you get double clear vision at night, are able to spot the edge of road quite comfortably, and can read road signs quickly, you will never complain it to be an extra investment.
